Affiliations and Partners Orange County United Way invests in Orange County children, families, and individuals by mobilizing OUR community to meet the most basic human needs—food, shelter, and medical care—while creating pathways to self-sufficient futures through education and training. By focusing on the Building Blocks for a self-sufficient life: Education, Income, and Health, Orange County United Way works to strengthen our community. Orange County’s premiere organization for women business owners, NAWBO-OC’s mission is to position Orange County women business owners to build their power, passion and profits for success. The largest, most active business organization in central Orange County, the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce has worked continuously since 1889 to bring a higher level of economic prosperity to area business owners, workers and residents. Through the creation of innovative solutions in workforce development, the Chamber is bringing dynamic changes to the business climate of the city and surrounding areas. OneOC’s mission is “accelerating nonprofit success.” OneOC provides volunteer, training, consulting and fiscal sponsorship services for nonprofits to help them become as efficient and effective as they are passionate about their missions. The Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits (ACDN) fosters the creation and growth of community-based organizations that assist individuals to secure and maintain employment. Since 1999, ACDN members have provided workplace clothing for over 250,000 clients. Among ACDN member nonprofits, 100% provide work clothes and business attire to assist clients in dressing for success, and 70% also provide additional career development training. Rotarians are business and professional leaders who take an active role in their communities while greatly enriching their Rotary club contains a diverse group of professional leaders from the community that the club serves.
