Employment Readiness Workshops provide job seekers with the basic skills needed to conduct an effective job search and increase job retention. Facilitated by staff and trained volunteers, the curriculum, which addresses the unique issues facing today’s job seekers, provides participants with the lifelong tools needed to discover their skills, choose a career goal and effectively market themselves to potential employers.

Success Strategies addresses the unique issues facing today's job seekers. Participants will learn lifelong tools needed to discover their skills and how to effectively market themselves to potential employers.
Job seekers actively prepare for the interview process by exploring various interview formats, reviewing common interview questions and taking part in videotaped mock interviews. Participating in Mastering the Interview empowers job seekers to refine their interviewing skills, build their self-confidence and significantly increases the likelihood of securing employment.
WHW has a proactive approach to equip job seekers with their most valuable tool to seek and secure employment. Resume Development consists of a 30-minute presentation on what goes into building an effective resume and then each Job Seeker is paired with a coach to create, develop and refine their individual resume. The goal is for each Job Seeker to walk away with an optimized document that showcases their skills and accomplishments that will appeal to and impress prospective employers.
